DRAGON HOODS by Brian Kellogg
Dragon Hoods "modified" Kazakh hoods are derived from the original Mongolian hoods which have been in use for untold centuries. With the addition of braces, decorative but functional top knot, and accordian tongue in the back, it is adjustable to fit each individual bird. Just determine the distance across the back of the lower mandible and cut the chin strap to fit, gluing it on the inside with a touch of "Barge" cement or stitching it in place. Make sure that the cut end meets the end already glued. (The chin strap is extra long for this purpose, so be careful when cutting to length). I hope you are satisfied with the fit of this hood, I know your eagle/hawk will be!

I have created a mail list for falconers called Canadian Falconry. All falconers are welcome and we have falconers from around the world on the list.
Due to demand I have also created a mail list for serious longwingers called appropriately enough Longwingers. This is not a beginners list and subscriptions are approved by myself.
